Jo here updating the blog with a new post after speaking to Sarah today 12/9. The comments are falling off the page from the other.
Read on to hear how their getting on and leave them a comment after this post.
All is going well - they have their car and have found the supermarket - not as cheap as expected although the meat is quite cheap. Beer & wine not cheap either $50 crate beer in the week and no such thing as 3 bottles wine for a tenner!!!!!!!! (no good for me - partial to a drop of red). Eating out is quite reasonable and they've had 'fish n chips'. They've been really busy sorting things out - lots of setting things up and paperwork to do. Considering they've only been there about 2 wks they've done really well I think. They've found a house to rent very close to a school in the Brighton area. Not too far from the beach either. Check out google earth street view 'the seafront is lush'! Looks like your right there. Andrew has checked out a few job opportunities - one, a family run business - sounds like the auzzies certainly know how to 'value their staff' unlike here! He's another one to checkout next week. No shortfall of work, plenty around by the sound of it. To quote Sarah "if Andrew, Russell and Paul had moved out here years ago we'd all be millionaires by now".
So good news is 'all is falling into place nicely'. They sound really happy and relaxed about the future. They've been lucky to have met some nice people who have given them really sound advice. They are off to a conservation park this weekend to see the koala's and kangaroos - how cute! Lucky devils! And Sarah was hoping they'll be able to spend a day on the beach and finally settle down to relaxing and enjoying the surroundings and weather which is improving every day. Sounds fab and I'm sooooooooooo jealous. All yours now to leave your comments.

spoke to Andrew & Sarah today they had a lovely day in the conservation park feeding the kangaroos and koalas. Abbie was holding a koala and had her photo taken which she will put on her boo bee blog (what ever it's called) for her friends,(best friend Adam) to see. the kangaroos were shading under the trees (cos it was hot)! and once they started feeding them the kanga's were hopping after them and one little baby popped it's head out of the mothers pouch. They will add, (or perhaps Jo will add)? them to this diary for us to see - Hope so Jo? cos it sounds fab! X
